Leo Carrillo lived at 639 E. Chennel Road in the 1940 census, which also indicates he lived in the same house in 1935. Is this the same address you are looking for?

Hello,
I am trying to find out the history on our family home, it is a spanish home that was moved with our neighbors home in the 1940's I believe, it was built I believe in 1930. We were told that Leo Carrillo was a previous owner and they actually moved both homes from Hollywood to the South Bay (Torrance)
Can you help direct me to where I might find out if he did indeed own it at one time?
Sincerely,
Kim Olcean-Sacramone

For your Canadian readers, they might want to take a look at iverify.com - it's a site that will show you a lot of history about the home like previous insurance claims and building permits (in Ontario).

Hi,
The Art Institute of Chicago has a wonderful list of helpful resources for researching homes in Chicago. Here is the link
which I think you will find most useful. If you have any questions after looking at it, please let me know.

Hello,

I'm writing because I am interested in learning the history of my house. My property is located in Chicago, IL 60629. I would to know as far as 1910, the public records only show as far as the 1990's. I am hoping that you would be able to point me in the right direction any little bit would help.

Thanks in advance,
         Cesar
